Magical Tails Unfold

Belle blinked as a golden key appeared in her hands. "Wait... but..." she looked up to the spirit King. "You mean you're lifting his banishment?"

"I am," the large spirit said. "I've been watching over you Belle Tricoy. Seer once told me there would be a human born to the Tricoy family, it would appear you are that human. Take my child, your adventure had just begun."

With that said, he suddenly disappeared.

"Adventure just begun?" Belle blinked. "Hey what the hell does that mean!?" but he was gone.

Laxus finally decided the lovebirds have had enough time. He then cleared his throat. "Ahem!"

Gray was about to say something when he jerked and looked to the door. "Laxus..."

"Don't worry, I just arrived," Laxus lied. "How are you kid?"

"Belle, thank you." Loke then vanished into the spirit world, leaving only his key behind, which rested in Belle's hands. She probably felt real happy that she was able to help Loke. He would probably be back real soon after he rested up a bit and got his energy back. Unknown to Belle, Loke could actually just appear from his key anytime he wanted to. She didn't have to call to him at all.

Kurai smiled at the man,"I'm fine. But I'm not a kid, I'm 18." What? 18 years old? Was she serious!?

"What?" Laxus looked from Gray to Kurai, and back to Gray again. "Is she serious?" He was actually shocked. He truly thought she was a young teenager.

For several minutes Belle stood there at Karen's grave stone, staring at the key who belonged to Karen up until 3 years ago and now it was in her hands. She saved Loke, but why did he nearly die now? Sliding her key to where the rest where, she pulled out a silver key. "Open, Gate of fortune, Seer!"

"You called for me milady?" the woman called, breasts nearly like they were about to pop out of her dress at any time.



"Yes, why did Loke nearly die now? You said he wouldn't die for another month or so."

"He used his powers on Kurai to heal part of her broken ankle and from that sped up the process. I had foreseen it might happen but wasn't sure if he would do it. But now you have helped back as being leader of the Zodiacs. A New Leo will not have to be appointed."

"As serious as you are about wanting to take Gramps place," Gray replied.

Laxus smirked. "Well to me you're a kid as you're younger than me, so get used to it kid. Well I should be off to interrogate the prisoner."

Suddenly there was a huge explosion. The prisoner had blew himself up. He was now dead. That guild was rough. In the case of capture it was their policy to kill themselves to avoid the enemy finding out their secrets.

"And it sounds like I no longer have to now. He blew himself up," said Laxus.

"Oh no!" Kurai cried. She had tears running out of her eyes.

"Why are you crying? He was the enemy," said Laxus.

"He's still a human being. It's so sad." Kurai put her head into her hands and sobbed.

Gray shook his head. "Dark Guilds are always so cruel to their people. We have to find a way..." he stopped and gasped. "Laxus! Was there anyone done there of our people?"

Laxus shook his head. "No. Guess that means we'll have to be sure someone is there at all times with the prisoner so someone can act before the prisoner tries anything."

Belle's eyes narrowed. "Then what did the Spirit King mean by my adventure has just begun?"

Seer shook her head. "That, milady, is something I can not tell you. I have been sworn by the Spirit King to not allow you to know what that is. You must find out for yourself. Just know that your destiny has been chosen since before you were even born and that your destiny is something that will affect both the magic counsel and community as well as the spirit world."

Belle growled. "Sometimes you can be a pain in the ass."

"I know," Seer replied. She then disappeared before Belle could say anything more.

Belle turned to the grave. "Well Karen, I now have your key, my first Zodiac key. I will take good care of him. Wish me luck." She then turned and made her way back to Magnolia.

"I'm out of here. I'm not hanging around this winy crybaby." Laxus turned and left the room. How dare he say that about Kurai! She wasn't a crybaby. She just had a gentle heart, that cared about everyone.

"I'm sorry," Kurai mumbled to Laxus as he left. She was still crying for the man who had lost his life that was her enemy.

Gray hissed before turning back to her. "Don't say sorry. Laxus is just got a huge stick up his ass and doesn't know how to take it out. I think Laxus is more pissed at the fact his job's not finished yet since he took a quest that requires protecting you in Magnolia. Once you're feeling better, we'll take a quest and get out of town and away from him."

He took a seat on her bed and offered to hold her close

Kurai leaned over, letting the man hold her in his lap. She closed her eyes as more tears came out of her eyes. She was a very warm hearted person. "I... I want my mother," she sobbed. She was upset and wanted to be comforted by a family member. But the only problem is all her family was now dead. But Gray could help her. He could be like an older brother to her, even though they're the same age. Probably not by months though.

"I know..." Gray whispered as he leaned on her head. "But you can get a new family with me, Natsu, Erza and Lucy. Here in Fairy Tail we're all family, even fight like siblings."

He sighed. "I'm really sorry about your parents. I too lost my parents but I was really young. Gramps became a parent to me when I came here."

Belle soon entered the guildhall, slightly dazed.

"Hey Belle!" Silvie called. "What's with you?"

"Huh?" she looked up. "Oh... Loke is gone."

Suddenly the old man came in. "Kurai, I'd like to adopt you as my granddaughter if that's okay with you."

Kurai cried harder. "Are you serious?!" She was shocked. Makarov wanted her to be his granddaughter. But, wouldn't that make her and Laxus siblings? Exactly! Then he'd have to like her.

"Very, and yes this means you and Laxus would be siblings. Maybe that'll get him to be nicer to you," he said.

She nodded, "Yes, grandfather."

Gray smiled. "See, we're family here. Gramps even calls us all his children."

"That's right my boy. Now, you rest up so your team can take a job in a day or so. Oh and Belle just returned."

"Where was she?" asked Gray.

"She followed Loke."

"What do you mean he's gone?" asked Silvie, getting the attention of Lucy, Natsu and Erza. Happy was nibbling on a fish.

"Loke's actually Leo the Lion Zodiac Celestial Key," Belle replied, showing her key.

"Are you serious!?" Silvie gasped. She turned to Lucy. "Guess now you know why he ran from you."

"That's awful! What happened?" Lucy asked Belle.

Kurai gasped, "Loke! Is he okay?" She was a bit worried about him. Maybe he'd better tell her, so she doesn't start getting upset again. She had just been cheered up after all.

Now that the secret was out, Belle was able to tell all what she knew. "Loke's former master was killed and he was blamed for it because the master abused her spirits and he was trying to set an example and she then did something stupid and got herself killed. Loke was banished from the Celestial world. But now, thanks to me, he was given back access and I was given his key. He was dying."

"So that's what his powers were all this time," Erza replied.

Makarov shook his head. "I'm not sure. Belle knows about it. She told me she knew who Loke really was but wouldn't tell me what. But did say Loke was on a death sentence."

Natsu busted into the room. "Loke's a Celestial spirit and now Belle is his master."

"No! Loke," Kurai tried to get up. "I have to help him."

"You're staying right where you are," said Gray, pushing her back down on the bed.

Kurai sobbed, "But I..."

Natsu suddenly busted into the room. "Loke's a Celestial spirit and now Belle is his master."

Kurai's face brighten up, "So, he's okay then?"

Natsu nodded. "Yeah. Belle just said he was being punished for indirectly killing his previous master and he nearly just died but Belle saved him. Now he's back in his world, healing. At least I think. Belle has his key and it's a gold Zodiac Key, just like a few of Lucy's keys."

"So Loke was a spirit all this time and he hid it. I wondered why he was doing things so differently. I wonder if Belle actually knew this since she has a Seer spirit," Gray replied.

"That's wonderful." Kurai then turned to Gray. "Can you help me lay back down so I can get some rest?"

Gray nodded and helped her to lay back down. Makarov looked to Natsu and left, pushing the young man out of the room, leaving the couple alone.

The next morning, the guild was once again very lively. Cana was drinking before noon and a few others were just hanging around. Natsu was getting bored out of his mind wanting to take a quest.

Loke was actually fully rested now and sitting at a table. Gray was talking with him. 'Hmm, what's this?' Wondered a certain fly as it buzzed in closer to hear better. Nicole sat upside down under the table listening to the two men talk. Gray found he had fallen in love with Kurai but didn't quite know how to tell her his feelings. So he wanted to get some advice from Loke, as he knew Loke was an expert on women.

"So, what's this big secret about Gray? And you don't have to worry. I promise, whatever you tell me is strictly just between us," Loke told him.

Gray looked at the spirit. "Coming from you who has kept his true identity a secret for the past three years is saying a lot. By the way if you're a spirit how come you're here?"

"I have the ability to come and go as I please, using my own magic. And now that Belle's my master, I don't have dip into her power when I do."

"I see." He took a slug of his drink. "Here's my problem. I think I'm beginning to have feelings for Kurai and we've known each other a week. You're a womanizer, I would like your opinion on the matter."

"Well, the first step is to find out if she likes you back," said Loke.

"Well, she has cuddled with me and even slept in my lap. Oh, and she kissed my cheek," said Gray.

"Woah! She has the hots for you then. It sounds to me like she's actually wanting sex. Has she ever touched you down there and acted like it was an accident?" Loke asked. Actually she had. The morning after her nightmare she had rolled off him and her head touched his cock and she acted like she didn't mean to do it. That meant it may not have been a mistake at all, but her trying to turn him on.

Gray nearly spit out his drink at Loke's words. "Man, couldn't you have asked me that when I wasn't taking a drink?"

Loke chuckled. "Just had to be sure you were paying attention. "Now answer the question?"

Not embarrassed, he looked at the spirit. "Yes, but it was only because we first woke up and I had to use the bathroom, which wasn't exactly a comfortable experience. I'm not even sure if she was sure she actually touched me there."

"Oh, believe me. When a woman does that it's no accident. It means she wants to have sex. Trust me I know. I've had women do that to me before," Loke explained.

'Oh gee, he's got the hots for her. I better tell Lyon.' The fly buzzed out from under the table and flew away.

After getting outside and making sure no one saw her, she transformed into a bird and flew off. She had turned into a hawk. After getting back she saw Lyon outside the hideout talking with someone. The person turned from Lyon and pointed up. He was new to Lyon's group and didn't know about Nicole yet. "That bird is heading right for us, Lyon," he told him. Lyon probably knew it was Nicole.

"You and sex," Gray shook his head. "But she's an inexperience young woman. That is obvious."

"All the more reason," Loke replied. "Her hormones are way off track and seeing you strip to nearly nothing probably enhances that even more."

Speaking of stripping... Gray looked down and found himself in his underwear. "Damn! I did it again!"

Loke laughed. "Gray you'll never learn."

"Well apparently neither will you," Gray threw in, getting serious again. "So tell me, Belle told me that you knew who she was all this time and never feared her and yet you ran from Lucy at every turn. So, what makes Belle so special?"

Lyon smiled. "It's just Nicole returning for a report. I told her not to return unless she had something useful for me."

He stepped back, forcing the guy to step back. "Give her room to transform."

"Transform?"

The brown colored hawk landed onto the ground and turned back into a woman and stood up, dusting herself off. The man felt his cheeks heat up. "Hey, what do you say after your report you hang out with me awhile tooks." This guy was just asking for trouble. NEVER mess with someone Lyon is interested in.

"Ewww! No! Go away before you lose an eye," she threatened.

"Awww, that's no way to talk to me, hot stuff." He grabbed her from behind.

"Hey! Let go!" Nicole cried out.

Loke blushed but chose not to answer. Instead he said, "Now what women really like is when you be romantic. Surprise her with a candle lit dinner in your room with all the lights off tonight and then spill the beans. Trust me, she'll be all over you after that," Loke suggested. By all over him, what exactly did he mean? Was that what it sounded like? Really!

Lyon scowled. "You may not want to do that," he replied. The guy seemed pretty insisted on it. Lyon was quick to come up to the guy and grabbed his arm, nearly twisting it backwards, bringing the guy to his knees.

"If you wish to remain in my services, then there is one thing you should know, Nicole is off limits to everyone, except for those she chooses. Do I make myself clear?"

Gray knew he hit a nerve when the orange haired Lion spirit blushed but continued on about Kurai. He then smirked, this would be fun. "Are you sure that isn't what you'd like to do with Belle as she's now your master," he joked, taking everything he had to say to heart. The man was offering advice to help his problem with Kurai. So if he were to woo her, she might get seductive.
