Belle blinked and looked at her menu. "I'll take the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes," she said suddenly.

The waiter wrote it done. He noticed the woman didn't seem to really look at the menu too much. He then took both menus and left to give the cooks the newest order.

Her hand rested on the table as she took a sip of her drink, savoring the flavor. She hadn't had a drink like this in six months.

Lyon smiled. "I would like to spoil you from time to time. And you're one of my best friends. I should give you something so you can come back to me again later."

Unknown to him, he was actually wanting to please her because deep in the back of his mind he was in love with her and had loved her since the day the two coupled the first time.

Little Lyon was crying and walking around. He had just lost his master and it was all Gray's fault. As far as he was concerned he was no longer his friend. As he walked trying to figure out where to go he came upon a girl laying in the grass in an opened field. She had sky blue hair and was wearing ripped clothes. Her whole body was bloody and she was laying in a pool of her own blood. OMG! She was injured! Worse part was, she was laying face down meaning if she was turned over soon she'd drown in her own blood and die.
"Like it?" He smiled. He could tell she was really enjoying the drink. He took the lemon and squeezed the juice from it into his tea, before pushing the lemon down into the glass with his straw. He then begun to drink it.

Lyon rushed over to the girl. "Hang on!" he cried out not sure if the girl could hear him or not. "I'll help you!"

Using his hands, he quickly encased her entire body in ice, freezing her blood so no more would seep out. He then carefully picked her up and ran to the nearest village, which wasn't too far away.

"He's carrying a slave child! Get out of here! Do you know the trouble you could bring to us!" Screamed a woman. Every door he went to shut in his face.

"You people are heartless!" Lyon cried out. "So, she's a slave, who cares! I'm not letting her die!" So! That's why she was like this. Her owner beat on her and left her to die. That was even worse than what he'd gone through. Even though Lyon was young he'd learnt a lot about first aid from his master and knew healing spells. He's have to save her himself.

Lyon felt tears well up in his eyes. "You're all heartless bastards!" He shouted before his eyes hardened. Putting down his cargo carefully to not break the ice, he then brought his hands together and formed ice in his hands, blasting away a wall of the nearest house where there were people locked inside.

"AAAAAAH!" A woman screamed in terror.

"You will help me save this girl or I'll be sure this master is the least of your worries," he snarled viciously. "I will encase... her..." he pointed to a small 2 year old. "In ice, making her an ice sculpture for all time!"

The woman yelled and grabbed her child and ran out. Lyon couldn't waste anymore time though. However, there were a lot of medical supplies in the house. He sat the girl down and begun doing the work himself trying to save her. He used a lot of his magic on her, encasing the bad places in ice so they've heal. He then waited for her to wake up, a bottle of pain pills in his hand. He had laid her on the couch covering her with a blanket.

Hours later the child opened her eyes and stared at Lyon before breaking out into tears. She was scared. But also very sore as well.

Lyon gave her a gentle look. "Hey," he breathed. "It's ok. I know it hurts. But you'll be ok. I promise." He brought his hand up to her face. "You nearly died, but you'll be ok now. I'll take care of you and I never go back on my word."

He had many questions for her but first had to wait until she was ready to answer them. He could see she was in a lot of pain from nearly dying and dealing with her wounds.

She nodded but didn't say anything. Oh god! Was she mute with fright? What could he do now?

"What's your name? I'm Lyon," he told her.

The girl took a pen and piece of paper, writing Nicole on it and handed it to him. She then laid back down and shook a bit in fear, also in pain. Maybe he should give her that pain pill now. She also had tears coming out of her eyes.

Lyon read the name. "Well it's nice to meet you Nicole." He looked at the pills. "Here, take one of these, it should help with the pain. I had to use my ice magic to help with some of the injuries."

He handed her a pill.

She stared at him. "Oh, right, you need something to drink to take it." He went and got a glass and stared in the stranger's fridge. Oh boy! There was white grape juice in there. All kids loved white grape juice. He poured her a glass and took it to her.

Nicole smiled at him, taking the juice and swallowing the pill. Her smile was her way of saying,'Thank you.'

He smiled back. "You're welcome. Now you just rest there and I'll take care of you."

"Just what the fuck do you think you're doing kid!?" snapped a woman who was familiar to Nicole.

Lyon snapped around. "Taking care of an injured girl, what does it look like?"

He had no idea if this was the girl's master or not. But he didn't care. No one was going to touch Nicole again and he was going to see to that.

"N... no! I won't do it! I won't! I refuse to poison that person's drink!" Nicole suddenly cried.

"Who are you to speak to your master like that! You Insolent little brat!" The woman pulled out a whip and lashed out at Nicole with it. The child squeezed her eyes shut waiting for the pain.

Lyon's eyes narrowed as he took the whip into his hands, preventing the slap. The snap stung his hand, but he used his ice to help lessen the blow.

"No way in hell are you going to hurt her ever again you disgusting bitch. Ice Make swords!" For the first time ever, Lyon produced his power out of one hand. The swords flew past the woman as a warning. "That's a warning. You make one step closer and I will kill you." His hand then froze the whip snapping it, in two.

The woman then lashed out at Lyon, sending the boy crashing to the floor. "Lyon! Leave him alone!" Nicole yelled.

"Now, you will be punished for disobeying me!" She yelled. She lashed out at Nicole hitting one of her wounds on her arm that Lyon had closed up with his ice. Blood started leaking out.

"AHHHHHH!" The child cried in pain, holding her bloody arm. Tears were coming out of her eyes.

Lyon saw this and he immediately saw red. "I warned you, you fucking cunt! Ice Make deadly swords!" Unlike before as a warning this time the swords came out of his hands, five of them stabbed the woman in the chest while many others stabbed her in the arms and legs.

Red was immediately turning the beautiful ice into a shade of pink as the woman howled in pain. Lyon then stood and walked over to her, snarling as he did so.

"Now you'll pay for treating her like shit. There will be no begging for mercy." He then produced another sword in his hands. "Any last words?" he asked as he pointed the sword at her head. The woman barely could breath as both lungs were punctured, blood dripping from her mouth.

The woman couldn't say a single thing as her lungs were damaged. She spit out blood and Lyon stabbed her right through the heart, killing her. Now he had another problem. Nicole was in pain again and couldn't take another pain pill as she just took one and it was too soon to take another. He also had to reseal her wound.

Lyon spit on the dead woman's face whose eyes were wide open in shock, fear and pain. He then turned to deal with his new friend, dropping the sword he had, he walked over to Nicole and began to do what he did before. using his ice to seal her wound again.

"I'm sorry," Lyon said with concern. "I wish I could take the pain away."

"I've had nothing but suffering since I was born. I watched my whole family die to enslavement. I will not stand for it any longer. There must be some way to end it and outlaw it and I won't stop until no one else has to go through what I did. They will all suffer!" Nicole cried. That was when Lyon and Nicole teamed up both wanting to get back at the world for how they were treated. Soon others joined them to help them the two of them eventually built a tight friendship and actually had sex for the first time when they were both 15 years old.

"Thank you Lyon. But... an ice flower? Am I really that cold?" She didn't understand what he had meant by that.
